This wine is made from 100% Muscadet (Moulon de Bourgogne). Gorges is renowned as the village that produces the finest Muscadet. While the typical sur lie (aging wine on the lees) period is six to 14 months, this wine was aged for a long period of 45 months. While this does not technically qualify as sur lie, it has a softer, more structured, and exquisite flavor.
