The harvest was not completed in time for the application for a sweet wine, so it cannot bear the name Beerenauslese, but the quality is comparable. The wine has a fine, creamy texture and a floral, noble roasted green tea aroma. The wonderful sweetness and subtle tannins create a well-balanced sweet wine with a powerful structure.

This wine is made from 100% Muscadet (Moulon de Bourgogne). Gorges is renowned as the village that produces the finest Muscadet. While the typical sur lie (aging wine on the lees) period is six to 14 months, this wine was aged for a long period of 45 months. While this does not technically qualify as sur lie, it has a softer, more structured, and exquisite flavor. This wine pairs wonderfully with seafood, especially scallops and shrimp, which are packed with flavor!
