This captivating wine is composed of 95% Merlot and the remainder Cabernet Franc. The vines are 40 years old on average. The vineyards are part of a 19-hectare plot formerly known as Saint-Émilion AC. Cold maceration (6-8°C) was carried out in 200-hel stainless steel tanks. Slow fermentation took over 30 days, followed by 14 months of barrel aging (in barrels formerly used for Gravières). Its brilliant crimson color and aromas of cherry jam linger from the palate to the nose. Overall, this wine is a masterful achievement, with soft tannins providing a pleasant, supple finish. The finish is fresh, refreshing, and fragrant. It offers real notes of raspberry, vanilla, and blackcurrant, with hints of well-ripened skin.

This special vineyard is reserved exclusively for Rinsolance. Cold maceration takes place in 400-liter wooden barrels. Subsequent malolactic fermentation takes place in 100% new barrels for 24 months. The oak character is beautifully integrated into the wine. Only 20 cases are imported to Japan each year.
